Starting July 27, 2014, I have logged 668.92 miles on my recumbent exercise bike.

  • July 27, 2014: 3.34 mile tabata ride
  • July 28, 2014: 3.46 mile tabata ride
  • July 29, 2014: 10 miles total, 20 minutes per BFL, then to a total of 10 miles
  • July 30, 2014: 3.59 mile tabata ride
  • July 31, 2014: 10 miles total (including 20 minute BFL)
  • August 1, 2014: 3.48 mile tabata ride
  • August 2, 2014: 10.5 miles total, 20 minutes per BFL, then to 10 miles, 0.5 mile cooldown
  • August 3, 2014: 8.9 miles on a long slow burn ride
  • August 4, 2014: 3.42 tabata ride + a little more on the cool down after
  • August 5, 2014: 10.3 miles total, 20 minutes per BFL, then to 10, 0.3 mile cooldown
  • August 6, 2014: 10 mile run, doing levels 5 – 10 repeatedly 2 minutes at a time
  • August 7, 2014: 10.1 miles total, including BFL 20-minute part
  • August 8, 2014: 8.5 miles in 30 minutes at level 8 resistance; long slow burn ride
  • August 9, 2014: 10.3 miles total, including BFL 20-minute part
  • August 10, 2014: 10 miles total, no particular template, just riding
  • August 11, 2014: 10.5 miles total, long “slow” burn ride
  • August 12, 2014: 11 miles total, including BFL 20-minute part, 10 mi part, extended cooldown

  • August 17, 2014: 9.5 miles, 3 min ea 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, repeat
  • August 18, 2014: 10 miles, long slow burn, 9:10 PM just to make sure I got a ride in
  • August 19, 2014: 6.3 miles, including a BFL 20-minute section, then just ran out of gas
  • August 20, 2014: 10 miles, 3 min ea 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 repeat then cool down
  • August 21, 2014: 10.2 miles total, including a BFL 20 minute & 10 mile section

  • October 19, 2014: 9.5 miles, including 30 min @7, then a cooldown
  • October 22, 2014: 3.37 miles, tabata ride
  • October 25, 2014: 3.45 miles, tabata ride
  • October 27, 2014: 9.6 miles, including 20-min, 30-min, cooldown
  • October 28, 2014: 10 miles, including 20-min, 30-min, cooldown

  • This break represents a time when I didn’t pay attention to logging my miles and also includes the time I was riding at Gold’s Gym and didn’t count that because it was not on my own bike. And then I got lazy and didn’t ride at all for several months.
  • August 17, 2015: 5.5 miles doing a ride just to ride, without a formal structure
  • August 24, 2015: 6.25 miles doing a BFL and cooldown
  • August 25, 2015: 6.0 miles doing a BFL and cooldown
  • September 4, 2015: 3.3 miles doing a tabata ride
  • Big break in which I rode…basically not at all

  • Another enormous break in riding, lots of work travel and some flimsy excuses, too
